New customers in the past 3 months
29th April 2024
Whether starting afresh or moving from a free instance to one of our hosted options, we’ve been welcoming some great new organisations to ResourceSpace over the past few months.
Not-for-profit and public sector
Our work with charities and public sector organisations is continuing to grow and we’re delighted to be working with more great initiatives, including:
Age UK are working in support of their vision of a world where everyone can love later life. Their work includes campaigning and influencing; reaching out to older people, their families and carers with expert information and advice; promoting access to health and care services through their national network; and wellbeing programmes. The charity also operates on a global level via Age International (also a client of ours) to bring focus to the needs and rights of older people in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Retina UK are the only UK charity dedicated solely to working for people affected by inherited sight loss. Their work to promote and fund medical research helps to increase the understanding of these conditions and accelerate the search for treatments in the future. They offer information and support to enable people to lead better lives and help make sure no-one with inherited sight loss needs to feel alone.
Sarcoma UK offer support for people affected by all types of sarcoma cancer. They fund important research into the disease and campaign for better treatments. Their important work helps to raise awareness of sarcoma cancer whilst providing information to those who need it - to help improve survival rates, increase our understanding about the causes of the disease, and make sure everyone affected by sarcoma will have access to the best treatment and care.
Arts, Academic and Research
We're always delighted to welcome both arts and academic organisations to ResourceSpace and have recently welcomed these institutions:
The Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst is a contemporary art museum in Ghent, Belgium. S.M.A.K. was originally housed within the Museum of Fine Art, where it was established in 1975, before officially opening in its own space within the same park in 1999. Unlike the more traditional Museum of Fine Art, S.M.A.K. was the first Belgian museum devoted to contemporary art. The collection now includes more than 3,000 works dating from after WWII to the present day, and covers leading art movements such as cobra, pop art, minimal art, conceptual art and arte povera.
Based in Johennesburg, the Public Affairs Research Institute is an African research organisation affiliated to the University of Johannesburg and Wits University. PARI provides new and original social science research, advocacy and implementation support for South Africa, the global South and beyond.
