ResourceSpace has changed the way the DEC uses content, making it much easier for us to quickly make assets available both internally and externally during our emergency appeals.
ResourceSpace is now on G-Cloud 14
12th November 2024
We’re very proud to announce that Montala (the company behind ResourceSpace) is on G-Cloud 14. This ensures we can continue providing the same exceptional cloud-based Digital Asset Management solution to public sector organisations after first earning G-Cloud 11 accreditation back in 2019.
What is G-Cloud 14?
G-Cloud 14 is a framework agreement set up by the UK government to help public sector organisations, such as councils, NHS trusts and government departments, buy cloud-based services easily. It allows these organisations to access a range of cloud computing services, including hosting, software and support from approved suppliers.
The idea behind G-Cloud is to make it easier and quicker for public sector bodies to find and purchase cloud services that suit their needs, without having to go through a long and complicated procurement process. This means they can find solutions that are ready to use, often on a pay-as-you-go basis, giving them flexibility and control over their spending.
G-Cloud 14 is the latest version of this framework, offering an even wider range of services than before. Public sector buyers can search for these services in the Digital Marketplace, where they can compare different options and choose the best fit for their organisation.
All G-Cloud 14 suppliers have to confirm that they:
- agree to the latest G-Cloud framework agreement or Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework agreement;
- will take full responsibility for the work they do for their customers;
- haven't broken any laws that could lead to a mandatory exclusion from the application process.

What’s new in G-Cloud 14?
G-Cloud 14 incorporates several improvements over G-Cloud 13, including a broader range of services, an improved supplier declaration process and a more accessible framework. G-Cloud 14 also introduces an improved buying process designed to make it easier for procurers to compare services and improve their decision making. There’s also more detailed guidance to help buyers successfully navigate the procurement process.
How to select ResourceSpace through the G-Cloud 14 platform
If you’re a public sector organisation and want to choose us as your DAM platform via the Digital Marketplace, simply search for ‘ResourceSpace or ‘Montala’. To award your contract to us, use the G-Cloud framework contract which includes all the necessary details.
The contract you enter into with us cannot exceed 24 months, but you can extend this by 12 months—up to a maximum of 48 months—if you enjoy using ResourceSpace and benefit from its impact on your organisation. The "statement of work" determines the payment for services.
You can view the complete G-Cloud buyer's guide here, which we’d recommend doing first to ensure you’re clear on the agreement framework.
