ResourceSpace has changed the way the DEC uses content, making it much easier for us to quickly make assets available both internally and externally during our emergency appeals.
ResourceSpace 7.6 released

Announcing ResourceSpace 7.6! With this release we continue our efforts to make ResourceSpace as easy to set up as possible. It's now possible to manage the home page slideshow quickly and easily via a new option on the System menu. So that help is always to hand, we've built our Knowledge Base documentation right in to the software and it can be accessed at all times from the top menu. The recently added notifications system is now used much more, and we rely less on e-mails for informing users of activity relevant to them. Most actions requiring user messaging have been modified to use notifications rather than e-mail. Functionality to load users via a CSV file has been added meaning migrating from other systems and loading your organisations existing user data is now much more straightforward. ResourceSpace now integrates with Google's Tesseract library to provide OCR functionality. You can upload a scanned document and it will be parsed to searchable text.
